El viernes 30 de Octubre se inaugura en el retiro la exposición Face the Force. Se trata de una exposición única en el mundo, de 8 réplicas gigantes de cascos de la saga Star Wars en diferentes localizaciones emblemáticas de Madrid. Durante la inauguración se mostrará el primer casco, ubicado en la entrada del parque del Retiro, en la plaza de la Independencia.

Disney prepara una nueva película basada en una de sus atracciones más populares, Tower of Terror. A pesar del super éxito de las franquicias Marvel y Star Wars, Disney no abandona la idea de adaptar película a partir de las atracciones de sus parques, como ya pasó con la más que famosa Piratas del Caribe.
El aclamado ascensor pasará a la gran pantalla (una vez más) de mano del guionista de Big Fish, John August. Pero esta adaptación no va a conservar el argumento de la atracción, todo lo basado en The Twilight Zone no aparecerá en el largometraje debido a que sus derechos pertenecen a Warner Bros y parece que este estudio también tiene planes para dicha historia.
La nueva película centrará la historia en la atracción, cuando es alcanzada por un rayo mientras cinco personas estaban disfrutando de ella, y como todos sabemos... ¡Desaparecen! No es la primera vez que Disney intenta llevar a cabo una adaptación de este argumento y como prueba de ello y a la espera de más noticias os dejamos el poster de la película de 1997 protagonizada por Steven Guttenberg y Kirsten Dunst.
Disney is preparing a new film based on one of their most popular rides in the Disney Parks, Tower of Terror. Even with mega-brands like Marvel and Star Wars, Disney doesn't forget its theme park rides. We all remember how well it worked out for Pirates of the Caribbean.
The popular elevator drop ride will get a screen adaptation from Big Fish screenwriter John August. But while the ride is based on The Twilight Zone, the film won't be, because its cinematic rights are owned by Warner Bros. and they have plans for a new film as well.
The premise for the new film will center on the ride, as a lightning strike at the hotel causes five people in the elevator to completely vanish. It is not the first time Disney tries to take the elevator to the screen and here you can see the poster for the 1997 TV movie starring Steven Guttenberg and Kirsten Dunst.

Byron Howard, director de Zootropolis ha dicho en Twitter que "sería genial que hubiese noticias sobre Zootropolis" este fin de semana. Así que cabe la posibilidad de que veamos algo nuevo del último film de Disney en breve.

Star Wars was one of the references of Toronto Fashion Week, and although it is not one of the biggest fashion weeks it is with mentioning it. Last year, Minnie Mouse was the Disney touch on Toronto’s Fashion Week. This year with all the buzz over the new Star Wars film releasing shortly, it is no real surprise that Disney Consumer Products, in partnership with the Mercedes-Benz Start Up Competition hosted a Star Wars-inspired design competition. Tantos años después de la famosa película, y con las recientes imágenes que Disney ha mostrado a los fans de Robin Williams dando voz al Genio, los directores de la película, Ron Clements y John Musker, han confesado que los fans tenían razón. La teoría que decía que el mercader que aparece al principio de la película era en realidad el Genio no era una leyenda urbana y, precisamente por eso, Robin Williams prestó su voz a ambos personajes.
So many years after the movie was produced, and after the recently shown images (Robin Willimas while acting as the Genie), Ron Clements and John Musker have confused that fans were right. The theory said thatthe merchant in the beginning of Aladdin is actually the Genie. That's the reason why Robin Williams voiced both characters.
Look at both characters: Blue clothes? Check. Red band around the waist? Check. Bushy eyebrows and a beard ending in a curl? Double check. If that’s not enough for you, how about the fact that they are the only two characters in the movie who only have four fingers? Oh, and they both just happen to be voiced by Robin Williams.
That was the whole intention, originally. We even had that at the end of the movie, where he would reveal himself to be the Genie, and of course Robin did the voice of the peddler. Just through story changes and some editing, we lost the reveal at the end. So, that's an urban legend that actually is true. Ron Clements
Este martes 13 de octubre de 2015 se ponen la venta las entradas y estancias del primer fin de semana de media maratón de Disneyland Paris, que tendrá lugar del 23 al 25 de septiembre de 2016. De todas formas para reservar únicamente un dorsal habrá que esperar al 12 de enero de 2016.
Este primera jornada de reservas nos permite conocer los precios de las tres carreras, al igual que los paquetes Hotel+Entrada+Carrera. La participación en la media maratón (en la que no pueden participar niños) costará 69€, la carrera familiar (5km) 29€ y la carrera para los niños (en la que no pueden participar adultos) 12€.
El recorrido de 21,097km de la media maraton atravesará los dos parques, así como los pueblos de alrededor. La linea de llegada se situará en el Disney Village. Como en todos los eventos RunDisney, los Personajes Disney estarán presentes a lo largo de todo el recorrido para animar a los participantes. Todo corredor de la media maratón recibirá: una camiseta, una medalla inaugural, una guía oficial, un dorsal personalizado y refrescos durante y después de la carrera.
Los precios de la noche de hotel variarán entre los 150 y los 980€ aproximadamente, según el día y el hotel. Los que se apunten a las carreras tendrán ofertas en los precios de las entradas, desde 62€ por la entrada de un día a los dos parques.
Los corredores pueden reservar también su participación en una velada inaugural el viernes 23 de septiembre de 2016 en el parque Walt Disney Studios, con la presencia de Personajes Disney, acceso privilegiado a las atracciones y a los restaurantes buffet. El precio de esta velada serán 79€. Los visitantes podrán participar igualmente en la cena -espectáculo "Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show... with Mickey and Friends!"
Today, October 13th, 2015 you can start buying the tickets and hotel rooms for the first Disneyland Paris' Half Marathon, that will take place between the 23 and 25 September 2016. Anyway, if you want to book only a race bib you will have to wait until January 12 2016.
This first booking day shows us the three races' prices and the Hotel+Ticket+Race fares. The Half-Marathon (where only adults can run) will be 69€, the Family Race (5km) will be 29€ and the Kids' Race (where adults aren's allowed to run) will cost 12€.
The Half-Marathon will be 21,097km long and will run through both parks and villages nearby. The finishing line will be in Disney Village. Disney Characters will be all along the way cheering for the runners, like in every RunDisney event. Every Half-Marathon runner will receive: a t-shirt, an opening medal, an official guide, a personalized bib and refreshments al along the way and after the race.
Hotel prices will balance between 150€ and 980€, depending on the hotel and the weekday. Guests who sign up for the races will have discounts in park's tickets, starting at 62€ for a 1day/2parks ticket.

Clark Spencer, productor de Zootopia (o Zootropolis, como se va a llamar en España) ha pasado esta semana por Madrid para contar alguno de los secretos de la película.
Entre otras cosas contó que Zootropolis es un mundo creado y pensado por y para animales, cada uno es diferente y debe encontrar su sitio, pero a la vez todo el mundo es libre de convertirse en lo que quiera.
La ciudad principal se parece a Disneyland, el castillo esta situado en el centro y está rodado de diferentes zonas. Pero Zootrópolis no es perfecto, en el mundo de los animales también existen los estereotipos. Para poder representar el comportamiento de los animales, el equipo de la película se desplazó a Kenia para hacer un estudio a fondo de las diferentes especies.
Otras de las presentaciones que hubo fue la de la nueva princesa Moana, aunque en nuestro país también ha sufrido un cambio de nombre y la conoceremos como Vaiana. La cinta narrará la historia de una joven de Oceanía que hace miles de años se embarcó en la búsqueda de una isla legendaria.
Clark Spencer, Zootopia's producer has been this week in Madrid to tell us some things about this new movie.
He told some lucky people that Zootopia was a world thought and created by and for animals, each individual will be different and bus find it's place in the world, but at the same time everyone could be whoever they would want to be.
The city in Zootopia looks like Disneyland, with the castle in the middle and different lands that surround it. But Zootopia isn't perfect and, even in a world without humans, stereotypes exist. To be able to represent the behavior of every animal, the team traveled to Kenia to study those species.
Disney also presented their next princess, called Moana. This movie will tell the story of a young girl from Oceania who a thousand years ago left searching for a legendary island.
Ahora que Marvel ha llegado oficialmente al final de su fase 2, con la publicación de Antman, tenemos novedades en lo que respecta a la esperada Fase 3 del Universo Cinemático de Marvel.
Para empezar, han confirmado una secuela del hombre hormiga. Scott Lang volverá junto a Hope Van Dyne el 6 de Julio de 2018 en el largometraje titulado "Antman y la Avispa" (Ant-Man and the Wasp). esta será la primera película de Marvel titulada con el nombre de una heroica.
También han anunciado que tres películas aún sin título llegarán a las pantallas el 1 de Mayo de 2020, el 10 de Julio de 2020 y el 6 de Noviembre de 2020.
